PASSION Salvation’s Tide Is Rising Album #Giveaway #PASSIONStir

I was so excited to have the opportunity to listen to this new album from The Passion Movement. It’s a collection of songs from their annual conference geared towards college students. I haven’t had any new music come into the house for while and this was a welcome edition to my library. There is just something about a contemporary christian album to calm my soul any time of day.

Many of the artists I am quite familiar with and some are new to me. And all the songs are beautiful. My favourite track so far is ‘I Turn to Christ’ featuring Matt Redman. I don’t know why but it just resonated with me, today especially.

You should really give this album a try, it’s a great compilation of songs and artists. Worshipping through music can be very therapeutic.

Rooted in the confession of Isaiah 26:8, Passion exists to glorify God by uniting students in worship, prayer and justice for spiritual awakening in this generation.  From its start in 1995, the Passion Movement has had a singular mission–calling students from campuses across the nation and around the world to live for what matters most.  This yearly conference uses live worship music and teaching to encourage young people to live for the glory of God.  In 1998, Passion decided to document the musical portion of the annual conferences via live worship recordings — raw, in-your-face praise songs with an alternative edge.
