Menu Plan for the Week of November 2nd
Image for menu plan Monday

Even though we don’t celebrate Halloween, somehow I got roped into making costume for my two older children for school because they weren’t satisfied with what we had at home. So I gave them some options and this is what we came up with:

Not the most original of costumes but worked with what I had one hand, oh and with what I could make on short notice Thursday night! Suffice it to say that making these costumes only solidified my dislike for this ‘holiday’!

Anyway, it’s over now so I can move on and start to plan the younger boys birthdays! They will each get their own cakes, with their choice of design. Now I just need to get them to make a solid choice :)

This week promises to be a delicious as far as food goes. So here what is on the menu:

Monday – Baked Spaghetti
Tuesday – Salmon, Green Beans, Rice
Wednesday – Chicken Enchilada Potatoe Casserole
Thursday – Broccoli Cheddar Quiche
Friday – Roast, Potato, veggies
Saturday – Burgers
Sunday – Pizza

A simple menu, that will hopefully provide enough leftovers for my hubbies lunches and satisfy the kids. What are you making this week?

  • Yummy!

I think you are quite the awesome Mom for relenting – just a wee bit – so the kiddos could have fun with their friends. 😀

Your weekly menu sounds yummy. Do you ever share the recipes? I also make a weekly plan (sometimes it’s loosey-goosey on the weekends) and I include Saturday and Sunday, just like you. I know lots of people don’t plan for the weekend. I kind of like having at least a tentative plan, just in case, you know?

    Great post!

I am always willing to share recipes. I don’t create though I just use whatever I find on Pinterest and adapt those to our way of eating. I usually forget to take pictures though.
      Which recipe would you like?
