Menu Plan for the Week of November 16th
Image for menu plan Monday

A day late again! Ugh! Sorry about that, I got busy with the kids and life yesterday and it took me a while to decide what exactly we’d be having this week.

Thursday is our youngest 4th birthday so I was also waiting for him to decide what he wanted for his birthday dinner. If you’ve been following this blog for any length time, you won’t be surprised by his meal of choice…..what for it…..Noodles! This boy loves his pasta and he loves the simple noodles I make him often which is just butter, milk and parmesan cheese. All the kids love that meal and it really is so simple. It’s not my husband’s favourite meal and I can’t eat it so we’ll be enjoying Pad Thai that night. It’s still noodles but it’s not the plain kid friendly noodle the kids love.

The image above was last night’s dinner, and it was AMAZING. It wasn’t a huge hit with the kids but I loved every bite.

Here is the plan for this week:

Monday – Crispy Pan Roasted Chicken Thighs, Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar & Honey and a Quinoa Side dish
Tuesday – Tacos
Wednesday – Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Cauliflower Mash, Green Beans
Thursday – Noodles for the kids, Pad Thai for DH and I
Friday – Crockpot Sirloin Tip Roast, Potatoe, Carrots
Saturday – Soup & Sandwiches
Sunday – Pizza

It’s a meat-heavy week, but I’ve been missing the meat and I took my oldest son shopping with me(he was home sick) and I let him choose some meals. He got really excited for the roast and pork tenderloin so I had to buy them.

Are you eating anything fun this week?
