STRONG and KIND by Korie Robertson #STRONGANDKIND #Giveaway #FlyBy
I was introduced to the Robertson family by my sister-in-law. We haven’t had cable for a long time so I didn’t even know they were on the air. From the first time I watched Duck Dynasty I was hooked. I had her record every show so that when we visited again I would be able to watch all the episodes I had missed.
I have really enjoyed watching the interactions of this family as it’s something I have always longed for. A family that is close and that visits and that all lives in the same town. It’s a dream I will have to wait to enjoy, but I really hope that we have the closeness that the Robertson family has and I long to have a love for God like they have. And to be ablet o show that love to the people around me through my actions and words.
I have only been able to read the first two chapters of the book, but I found myself nodding with affirmation after every paragraph. Every word I’ve read just speaks to my heart about how I want to raise my children and how I want to be as a parent. I love that she admits how they’re not perfect parents, because let’s face it none of us are. She’s imparting the wisdom she has gained from being in a large family and combining two VERY different upbringings together to raise four beautiful children. And from what I’ve seen of them on TV I’d be proud to say those kids were mine.
I can’t wait to finish the book! Here’s a little bit about the book and Korie and at the end I have a giveaway for you, so read on….. About the book:
