Menu Plan for the Week of October 5th
Image for menu plan Monday

It’s another busy week for us in the evenings. School meetings, volleyball,┬ámid-week program at church, late nights for my husband, which means chauffeuring all 4 kids to the various kid events this week. (groan). ┬áThese things have to happen so we do what we have to do.

Nothing earth shattering happened last week. The kids had their first PA Day, so we decided to go apple picking. It was quite cold so we had to bundle up a little more than I like to when we pick apples but it was a fun time and now we have delicious local apples to enjoy for a while.

This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving and normally we head to my in-laws to celebrate with our family but this year we are remaining home so we can deal with some unfinished projects around the house and because of that we’ll be enjoying our traditional turkey feast next weekend so we can rest and enjoy the meal.

So here is the menu plan for this week:

Monday – 2 Bean Crockpot Chicken on Rice
Tuesday – Salmon, Cauliflower Mash, Green Beans
Wednesday – Spinach Quiche
Thursday – Mini Meatloaves, Mashed Potatoes, and Corn
Friday – Brussel Sprouts Pasta
Saturday – Pancakes
Sunday – Paneer Tikka/Pizza

I’m hoping to make the Paneer Tikka on Sunday for my husband and I but if I can’t find all the ingredients I need we might have to resort to a nacho plate, wish me luck on my quest for ingredients!

What’s on your menu for the week? Will you be enjoying any turkey feasts?
